Keisha S. Hollomon

Keisha S. Hollomon has proudly dedicated the past 25 years to serving students and families in the Rochester City School District, beginning her career as a Paraprofessional. Over the years, she has held multiple roles, including School Counselor and, for 15 years, Coordinator of Student and Family Support Services. Most recently, she worked with the Roc Restorative Team under RCSD’s Office of Student Support Services.

For the past three years, Ms. Hollomon has served as the Director of Community and Parent Engagement, where she has been instrumental in strengthening partnerships between families, schools, and the broader community. She has excelled in connecting students, families, and staff with vital resources while fostering restorative practices through student circles and family engagement. Her expertise extends to workshop facilitation, professional development training, and curriculum development in Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). Additionally, she is an Adjunct Professor at Monroe Community College, where she teaches College Orientation Seminar, Emotional Wellness, and Death and Dying.

Ms. Hollomon is deeply passionate about supporting individuals who have experienced trauma and significant life challenges. She understands the impact of adversity and is committed to helping students and families build resilience, strengthen relationships, and discover their unique potential. Her goal is to empower others to find peace, purpose, and success in life.

Known for her vibrant and energetic personality, Ms. Hollomon creates an uplifting and welcoming atmosphere wherever she goes. She remains dedicated to advancing parent and community engagement in RCSD, continuously working to foster collaboration and meaningful connections.

 

Outside of her professional life, Ms. Hollomon enjoys traveling and has a passion for shoe shopping. A fun fact about her extensive shoe collection—affectionately named A Walk in My Shoes—is that each pair holds a unique and memorable story.
